Rescue

Advocating in Courts

We go into court hearings and advocate for those with sentences. On numerous occasions, they have been able to persuade the court to mandate a sentence to a faith-based recovery center instead of issuing a prison sentence.

Chaplain services

We partner with local ministers to volunteer chaplain services in local GA and AL detention centers.

rescue teams

We assemble teams to remove individuals from destructive situations. The team quite literally tracks down individuals that have run away from rehabs and offers them a second chance. Jesus said that a good shepherd would leave his ninety-nine sheep in order to go after the one who has gone astray.

Equip

Detox Facilities

We provide detox options that include The Bradley Center, located in Columbus, GA, and Pathways, located in Newnan, GA.

Faith-Based Recovery Programs

Through the help of our partners, Abel Ministries is able to assist men and women with various expenses during the duration of their recovery program process. Among these programs are the Center of Hope in Anniston, AL, New Birth in Valley, AL, Life House in Alabama & Lousiana. Teen Challenge, and the Valley Rescue Mission.

Entry fees to the facilities are covered. We also provide transportation and supplies if needed.

THE SAINTUARY, TRANSITIONAL HOME FACILITY

We currently have two transitional residences that house up to 28 men.

Transition

  • Offering men a safe, Spirit-filled, environment to transition back into society.

Discipleship

  • Give men an opportunity to receive Christ-centered discipleship teaching and programs.

The Church

When a recovering addict graduates from one of our sponsored programs, they are strongly encouraged to get connected with a local church. We have networked with all types of local churches where graduates can go take the next steps in their faith journey.

The Workplace

Abel Ministries works with Abel Electric to provide employment to recovery program graduates. In addition, we are currently working to foster a network of Christian-owned vocational businesses that are willing to hire graduates as well.

Gatherings

Throughout the year, the team will sponsor trips to Christian conferences where there are opportunities to connect with ministry leaders from all over the country. Not only do our graduates encounter God, but they are surrounded by resources by which they could begin serving in ministries.
