Abel Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on discipleship-based recovery and transition from drug addiction. We believe the heart of God for His children is for them to discover who they are in Jesus and live their lives free from bondage and full of the Holy Spirit! At Abel, our vision is clear: Rescue, Equip, Send. Whether it be in our churches, our streets, or our local jails, we are active in our community with every intention of making that vision a reality. 

If you already partner with us, whether it be in prayer or finances, or both, thank you so much from the bottom of our heart. We would not be able to do any of this without the grace of God or your contribution to His call on us. If you are not yet a partner with us but are interested in becoming one, you are in the right place! Abel Ministries offers multiple recovery options with the chance to return to us and learn a trade upon completion of the selected recovery program. From there, we continue to train up individuals in the areas of Bible-based discipleship, personal character, and job skills through our company Abel Electric. 

We have entered a season of rapid growth and are currently looking toward the generosity of the local body of Christ to cover the cost of expanding our housing capabilities. We have recently constructed a five-thousand square foot transition house for men coming out of recovery to reside in while they begin their transitional period. The house is made up of ten bedrooms, three kitchen areas, and three living room areas; it will have the capacity to house up to thirty men; this is just the start of our vision to eventually be able to house 200 men to raise up for the glory of Jesus. 

Your donation goes towards:

  • Court fees

  • Transportation 

  • Regaining driver’s licenses 

  • Paying our ministry staff

  • Ministry vehicle upkeep

  • Care packages for our men in recovery

  • Medical costs for our men in transition 

  • Conferences that facilitate the presence of Jesus and help spread awareness of Abel Ministries in our local community
